DraftKings has been officially selected as the Daily Fantasy and Official Sportsbook partner of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). This move means that betting on PFL fights will be made available to fans across the nation. However, regulatory approvals are yet to be communicated.<\/p>

Based on the terms of the agreement, PFL’s patented SmartCage technology will help to offer MMA, sports betting, and daily fantasy fans a fantastic viewing and gaming experience.<\/p>

PFL sees itself as the first to capture and distribute live fighter data and analytics. These are easily integrated into each broadcast and throughout the league’s social and digital channels. Metrics such as fighter tracking, punch speed, kick speed, caloric burn, and heart rate are featured.<\/p>

The data used will ultimately pave the way for distinctive and innovative prop bets. For instance, fans will wager on whether a fighter will land a strike of over 25 MPH or not.<\/p>

According to the PFL’s CEO, Peter Murray, The league is happy to work with DraftKings. It looks to boost its sport by offering not just a premium but also a unique gaming and betting experience to millions of enthusiastic MMA fans in the U.S. and the rest of the world.<\/p>

The unique season format combined with SmartCage technology is vital PFL components that ensure PFL offers unmatched gaming opportunities and prop bets. Murray also added that the MMA’s league is back, and the start of the season will kick off this Friday, April 23.<\/p>

Live DraftKings odds will be made live for each event broadcast across ESPN channels and streaming platforms. This will also be available during PFL’s pre-fight show. Jonathan Coachman, ESPN media personality, and Ian Parker, a former MMA fighter, will host the show.<\/p>

Moreover, the operator will gift individuals with cash prizes and PFL-branded merchandise associated with the league’s regular-season championship and playoffs events. These offers expand on the 2019’s Pick’Em PFL Championship game. It gained over 30,000 submissions, and that it was featured in six million-dollar global title fights on New Year’s Eve.<\/p>

DraftKings’ Chief Business Officer, Ezra Kucharz, noted that they are more than excited to extend their partnership with PFL as their chosen betting and daily fantasy partner.<\/p>

He continued to argue that MMA is mainstream. Besides the fanbase being young, they are also passionate, loyal, and engaged. The good news is that PFL delivered an innovative product in the market. Kucharz also asserted that they are looking forward to offering a premium fantasy and betting experience for the fast-growing audience.<\/p>

DraftKings’ logs will be used in and around the cage. Also, the firm has sole rights to use “Official Partner” labels and PFL logos for promotions and advertising. Besides, the two parties will work together on exclusive, themed content to be used in other social and digital platforms.<\/p>

Since its establishment in 2018, PFL has gained a reputation for itself as the No. 2 MMA company worldwide. The league’s growth is indeed tremendous, especially across digital channels. There is a 68% increase in the number of followers on Instagram and an overall 30% audience growth in the digital space.
